What is Walk & Talk Consultation
A Walk & Talk Consultation, also known as a walk-through or pre-offer consultation, is a service where a trained professional and a buyer and real estate agent walk through the property and point out obvious defects. This option is popular in competitive real estate markets and can save time and money when a full home inspection isn’t possible. A Walk & Talk Consultation lasts 45 minutes which is different from a full home inspection, which takes at least three hours and includes a written report. A Walk & Talk Consultation is less thorough than a home inspection and does not include a report. Findings are communicated orally, and the inspector will only discuss what they can see while walking around the property.
